Jerah Sowinski, MS, LPC-I
Jerah Sowinski is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern who recently moved from San Diego, CA. She has been working with adolescents and families for over 4 years. She attended University of Georgia where she received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and following graduation moved to California. She gained her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in San Diego. Following graduation, she worked in an early intervention and prevention for psychosis program that served ages 10- 25. Following this, she worked in school based counseling within elementary, middle and high schools where she served children and their families. Jerah specializes in adolescent and family work. She provides individual counseling for depression, anxiety, self harm, self esteem, social skills, anger management along with life's other challenges.
Jerah is also Bilingual in Spanish and has experience working with the Spanish speaking population for individual, family and group counseling. She enjoys building self esteem, increasing family unity, increasing communication, and managing assimilation challenges within Spanish speaking families.
